Over the Thanksgiving holiday, my youngest daughters 2014 Focus developed a transmission problem. Rather than fix it and give it back to her, I opted to give her my 2018 Passat turbo. We found for me, 1968 Camaro convertible with a blown engine, which hubby promptly bought for me.

It's on it's way here as I type this, hubby is going to have a custom leather interior installed for me. A local speed shop is going to install a 6.2L, 376 cubic inch engine with 425 horsepower and 430 of pd/ft of torque. I've opted for the 6 speed manual transmission over the eight speed automatic.

They will have to upgrade the suspension and brake system to accommodate this xxxxxxxxx. My question is this, the LS3 engine is a popular crate engine, does anyone know if it would be worth adding a 2 litre turbo charger? I would love another 50-60 horsepower, but I want to retain the actual hood. Any experience with this?

Haha! Wow, that's great Dana! Maybe start with the 425 horsepower and 430 of pd/ft of torque pushing from the rear end. It's a different xxxxxx than the Passat turbo for sure! : ) Enjoy!

We actually bought it cheap, it's painted Riverside Red, the interior will be black leather with red inserts and stitching. It should be ready sometime in March!
