The two front Bell Towers might have a chance, however, it's feared now that the North tower will collapse now, and bring the other one down with it and everything that is left.
Let's nope that there is a part of this left most famous creation left...
There seems to be a lot of it left as the fires come under control. The wooden roof has gone off course as well as other parts. But the bell towers are safe and should survive. There are remains standing that might be able to be secured.
Buildings undergoing renovation often have torch work and other sources of ignition. Failure to monitor it properly burns down a lot of buildings. So easy to prevent. How sad!
Although it's bad news for any historic building to be destroyed like this, the Catholic church is one of the richest institutions in the world and has more than enough money to restore it without needing to rely on donations from anyone.

That might be rather difficult to quantify. Perhaps because many of the "riches" they have are "Priceless"

Leave it to the Super Rich to help in the cost of the 'rebuild' I bet loads of other things will be done at the same time, enough money has already been 'pledged' !

The lives lost in the Grenfell Tower fire were far more priceless, all 72 of them !
