I have congestive heart failure, stage 3 kidney disease, sleep apnea, high blood pressure . .. Basically I'm a would-be poster boy for stroking out at 50 years of age. I got diagnosed in time and for the last 15 years or so I've been on a long list of meds that keep my BP down, my kidneys stable, and me conscious on a regular basis. The Bipap machine lets me sleep at night, thank God. 30 years as a trial lawyer turned out to be more stress than was good for me.
Part of that whole blood circulation disaster was a developing ED that got pretty depressing around the time Covid hit. My dick felt wonderful but seemed to spend most of its time in a dream state. Impaired circulation means impaired erections, simple as that. I got tested six ways to sunday and my prostate is behaving very well, to my surprise. It also turns out my testosterone was way low and cortisol pretty high. That made me exhausted all day and turned down the energy in bonerville. So of late I've been on a trial of sildenafil ( generic viagara), testosterone replacement therapy (gel applied to shoulder) and am using food supplements to encourage the production of testosterone, together with some experimentation with a penis pump, which is recommended as a last resort for dead dick syndrome.
The pump is interesting to be sure, but i expect I'd have to use it a lot more to see any long term changes. Feels good, though, as for a short time I get hard as a fencepost. The T-therapy is gradually helping in a lot of ways, I'm sure of which one is a more robust cock. But the sildenafil has been impressive.
I'm taking 100 mg / 24 hrs on days when I'm interested in a little fun. It doesn't turn me into supercock by any means, but I immediately felt an increase in mass to an erection. There was more to work with and now I'm approaching the standard fun, adequate and at times impressive boners I used to have. It's a relief; I'm 65 and am not ready to sit in a rocking chair. So things are looking up, so to speak.
