The local mall, which opened in 1970, is being demolished. The mall killed off a lot of the downtown area here. Last night I dreamed I was walking through the deserted mall. I remember telling someone when I heard of the mall's demise: "Good riddance. I loved the downtown area growing up, but never was a fan of the mall... I won't lose any sleep over it being gone." It seems my subconscous has made a liar out of me. ~ | ||

I know a lot of you are not on Facebook. I am mainly on there to keep track of friends I've known for 50+ years. As I scroll through postings, I've come to believe most of my friends are cat owners. Many, many items both funny and prideful are put up every day. I have nothing against cats (other than their snooty attitude) and have owned a couple over the years. I have always, though, been a dog lover. Either my dog loving friends don't own dogs now, or for some reason they don't feel like exploiting the FB space. Probably because they're outdoors walking or playing with man's best friend. I'm cool with that. ~ | ||
