So we didn't spend Saturday hanging out at home as usual, we celebrated our 9 year anniversary. We started with lunch at a posh Greek restaurant, three courses. Some casual shopping in a cook shop and a second hand/antique store, and then we went to the Horta museum. For those who don't know, Horta was a famous Belgian architect in the art nouveau period. The museum is actually the house he built/renovated for himself and his family and it is absolutely gorgeous. We went home afterwards, collecting a few Amazon packages along the way: CDs and books. Before picking up my tablet to write this blog, I was cocooning in the sofa, reading Georges Bataille and listening to cello music. This is how weekends should be... |
