Alpina's blog post - 4000 +

The counting device at the top of this page shows me that there have been more than 4000 people knocking at my door, and there have certainly many been reading my blog. Now and then, I get messages of people who have just discovered it, and read the whole of it in one go (they say it takes 2 hours). Many leave comments here, some even do it regularly - which I think is lovely. I am told that my little texts soft some readers' hearts, while it seems that they also seem to harden some cocks ...

I often wonder who the people are who read my blog - which is at the same time my secret diary. (It's so secret that I even do it in a foreign language). But really, no-one in the real world knows that I write here and particularly not what I write - so I can be completely free, open and independent - which I tremendously enjoy.

Who are my readers? I get wonderful messages of people of all ages, mostly men. They often tell me of their lives and that they read me regularly, that they even try to find my latest blog or are looking forward to it. I love to read their sometimes very personal texts; although the chance is extremely small that I will ever meet them or even see what they really look like, I try to imagine what their lives are like and why they chose me of all people to tell their very intimate and secret thoughts. And for a moment we are very close.

In the picture section I have noticed that some people who post a photo - which might even be their own photo - get double the number of views in a day. I have taken about 120 blogs. Still, I have very much enjoyed writing them. I'd love to thank the 35 people who on average notice my name, read my little text and so walk some length of way with me through life.
