The people that was supposed to have the beagle were a no show this morning. Wouldn't answer thier phone or return calls.
So we went to local shelter but they were closed, local Petco was having an adoption event of rescued animals. We found a dog. It is a Dachsund/terrier mix. They had named him Frankenweenie.
Has a long body and little short legs and the sweetest disposition. Unfortunately one of his little front legs is deformed. The little one has named him DingDing. Which is easier to call when he is in the other room than Frank or Weenie.

Going to look at a puppy tomorrow for the little one`s birthday. She keeps saying she wants a bagel. She means beagle. Found one for sale on Craigslist just south if where I live. I think we should name it Creme Cheese. Everyone knows creme cheese goes with bagels.

Single digit temps and already 3 accidents on the highway..
I don't want to go to work today..
Or at least have someone join me in the shower at least and wash my hair for me. I will even say pretty please with sugar on top.

Enjoying the weekend so far.
Yesterday I treated myself to a new smart phone and a tablet computer. My previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy phone and I loved it, but the prices for the new ones even with a new contract was outrageous. So I ended up with a Pantech android phone. It is no where as good as the Samsung I used to have. I could not figure out to change some of the functions so back to the phone store today. There were 3 techs messing with it then they had to go call thier support still did not get it all figured out. So I did not feel so dumb after that. If it doesn't get any easier for me I will return it and just get an I phone. I at least know how it works basically. Take care all I am going to get ready for the snow we are supposed to get tomorrow...

It is a short work week. The last two days I have worked 12 hours each day. After today it is supposed to be a 4 day weekend. Hopefully the family doesn't have an agenda for me. I want to stay homd and play with the little one snd grandsons who are here. Darn it.
But I will go in but I don't have on a happy face about it. Lol

My life and household is about to get crazy ass busy. With all the kids and grandkids coming over. Also with having a 5yr old in the house late nights wrapping presents have become routine. I am just tired already.
I would even say no to Christmas sex, unless it was followed by a snuggle and a nap.
Merry Christmas to my NN family and I hope the season brings you much joy and peace. My first Christmas since 2005 that my biological kids will be with me. My oldest is supposed to be deployed next year with the Army so I am not sure if he will be home next year.

A favorite aunt has passed away this morning.
I will be heading to Little Rock for the weekend.

The whole event breaks my heart. Friday afternoon I spent at my daughters elementary school. I am a "room mother" and it was time for the winter class party. It is not called a Christmas Party anymore. It is not politically correct. Don't want to offend anyone. Personally I think Children should be exposed to many different religions while they are young. Maybe it would help prevent some of the hatred and intolerence people have as adults.
As the party was going on I kept looking st the kids thinking how could anyone want to hurt them? They are so innocent. I did shed tears for the kids in Ct.
Now our schools are talking about giving guns to the school administrators, I feel that is not the answer. I think we have the right to bear arms but if a bad guy wants a gun he will get one without following the laws. But common sense is in short supply and I din't have any snswers. ....n
