I've never been a prolific blogger myself, but as I only visit chat briefly and occasionally nowadays, I have been reading the blogs daily to keep up with friends and aquaintances that I've made over the last few years. Unfortunately, my favourite bloggers have also been in less and less, and a lot of friends have been removing pics and/or deleting accounts, at the rate of 2-3 per week. In fact, the last several times I've been into chat, a couple of aquaintances who were ALWAYS in around the middle of the (my uk )day were absent, and I NEVER see 2 extremely popular NN members in chat any more. When I think of NN as it was 2 or 3 years ago, I can see why people are leaving, and I can't help thinking that the 'improvements' that NN make periodically don't help, for instance, I recently allowed my prem.to lapse, and although I knew of some restrictions that I would encounter, such as I would only be allowed to see 5 of my friend list, I didn't know that I wouldn't be allowed to add any more friends as I have already added in excess of 5! If this is intended to make me become prem again, it ain't working, quite the opposite, and NN should remember that there is little or no restriction/limit on the number of friends on other social networking sites. OK, moaning winge over, I have lots of other grievances, but I won't bore you further, and if you got this far, thanks for persevering. I guess it was a vain hopr that NN would remain as it was several years ago anyway. |
