----My Profile/Blog ----- A dear lady - on NN - suggested I "leave out" the info (on my profile and blog) about my wife. Although I can understand where she is coming from with her suggestion, I think it would defeat the purpose of my search. Afterall, it helps explain who I am and what I'm looking for and why. I firmly beleive that a person can be in love/still love someone else yet be open to intimacy with others. Afterall, isn't that how the polyamory movement started (grin)? Come to think of it, I do sort of like the whole concept behind polyamory anyway. It seems more personable and respectful to your potential partners and current mate(s)... ---- browsing --- Seems there is a lack of earnest posters in my are. A lot of screen names and "listings" yet, once you reveiw the profiles, there is nothing there. Many didn't even list gender, preferences, etc... Nothing. Just lonely screen names with no apparent owners. Sort of like "lost puppies", huh (smile)? ---- Lag Time? ---- Anyone else notice NN has a lag time when loading? Even though I have high speed cable, and the other sites I visit load quickly, NN seems to take forever. Is there THAT many people on NN at any one time that it uses all it's bandwidth? If so - WOW! |
