Bloody Ell! It's only February tomorrow and I have already seen shelved stocked with Easter Eggs. The madness!!
Hoping for some snow tomorrow. We don't really get much snow at all here. Am right on the coast and it tends to be warm, wet and windy! (all year round hehe)
Even better is knowing I have a day's study leave tomorrow so don't have to go to my office 9 miles away and worry about how to get home when the snow comes. We in the UK are really awful at handling even a couple of inches of snow. Accidents abound on the roads, people drive at 10 miles an hour, roads are deemed to dangerous and closed off and public transport grinds to a hault.
Mr McB (an American used to driving in the deeper white stuff) mocks me and this isle when the snow comes lol. I don't blame him either. For a nation obsessed with talking about the weather, we are not very good at preparing for it! |
