You think you are all prepared, till the doctor takes you into an office and he tells you, it is weeks rather than month my Mum has. All I want is to get her home now, to make her final journey from home.That was my day.

Reflecting, I have done a lot.

I hope you get to take her home, I didn't get to do that because of covid, my mum passed alone in an old folks home because we were not allowed to visit, that hurts and will always do, they could have let us in to visit in PPE,I will have to live with that, just to hold mum and tell her how much she meant to me.

Prayers that you get your wish Dig... My Mother is 94 and still living at home, but we were really shocked to see how much she deteriorated while we were gone on our vacation... Where ever she is on that final journey, the important thing to her will be that you are there with her whenever you are able to be... cherish ever moment and every hug...
