Possibly the most beautiful, serene happening ever!! Tonight, i went to dinner with my friends, Hope, Sabrina, and Bri....we went about 35 miles South of here, to a popular little restaurant overlooking the river. It was such an awesome atmosphere, live music and dancing. The drinks and food were awesome. (DOLPHIN KICKS ASS if its cooked right)
Anyway, on the way back home, Hope commented that since she has been here she has not been to the beach at night. So I took a little detour, and we went to the beach. Just her and I. we got out of the car, to a dark barely lit up at all beach. we walked down to the shore line, sandals off, pants rolled up, andjust stood there...watching the surf hit the shore.
we talked a little bit, about how happy we are to have found one another. Its been so long since I have had more than one person to call a Best friend, its hard for me to fathom sometimes that now i have two. one at home, and one here in my new home.
SO, we're standing there, just enjoying the sounds, and the view, when way over East of us, there is this light, that seems to come out of no where, and it just keeps getting a little bigger with ever passing moment. Until we finally realize, that it is the MOON...OMG...I have watched sunrises, and they are the best, but to be out on the shoreline, when the Moon rises above the water...it brought tears to my eyes, and a warmness to my heart.
I felt him with me. He was there. in the sky, in the water, in the moon, The sand, He was part of it all at that moment. I Know because I felt it.
I've never seen the moon rise until tonight. and it is one thing that i will NEVER EVER forget. I'll always remember the peace it brings unto my heart and my soul.

Just when we need it, nature sings us a song. :) I hope you took in all in like I have learned to do and let it soothe you and help you forget the pain, even if it was for a moment. Sometimes that small moment of rest, when our heaviness falls to the ground and we are free just for a momment in time, is all we need to go on. Love ya!

Scientifically, the moon's illumination comes from the sun....which makes it alot like us, actually. We shine and reflect back what we have been gifted from others. I'm glad you hade a Feb. 17th that you will always remember. Oh, and Big ole Bear Hug, K.

hugs.... you know, i love the moon rising more too and it is beautiful when you witness it over a natural setting... it is so surreal... hugs and glad you finally got to see it!

the moon...she is the bozz of me. Nothing better than watching her in all her glory....and that awesome silver trail she reflects over the ocean!
