Hello luvvies
Just to keep you informed on the latest:
I went to the doctors on Thursday, One to find out more information on my brain (CT) scan and two, to find out what these friggin head pains are all about that I have been getting for the past 3 months!
Firstly the nurse comes in and does all the nursey stuff lol, pulse, BP, eyes, ears, nose check all that kind of thing. Then a physicians assistant came in and started chatting with me about my case and she did some more tests etc on me. Then the doc arrived. Everything was fine and my blood pressure was 120/78 so bloody good for me yay yay lol.
Anyway we got talking about my scan. Everything is fine - no new developments or anything like that - it's the same as 2 years ago. I do have the white matter indentations think it's called "Myelin" or something like that, but this could be a sign of the brain aging process or it could be MS - they are very similar. Until I get to see a Neurologist we won't know.
After a consultation with another in-house doctor, the head pain diagnosis is at the moment described as - 'Paroxysmal Hemicrania'
The condition kind of covers 3 types of headaches, Cluster headaches, Hemicrania and SUNCT headaches. The new medication I have now is 'Indomethacin'. If I am responsive to this medication within a month then that's a winner
So all in all I had a good visit - and I have not had one of these headaches since early Wednesday Morning. That's good.
Doctor says I can now up my exercise regime to at least an hour a day and she would like me to have a 30 minute walk every day in addition to my other exercises, to help with my imbalance and co-ordination.
Love and hugs to you all my friends. Have a Great Day Wherever you may be.
