Can't believe it, I got two Christmas catalogs in the mail today. And it's only mid-August! If I'm not mistaken, Christmas is almost FOUR-AND-A-HALF MONTHS AWAY!

Now, don't get me wrong, I love the holidays. But Christmas is just about the last thing I want to think about right now. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Do the mail-order companies honestly believe people want to start their Christmas shopping during the dog days of August???

I August and September you can get bargains,,,,,but November and December the prices go up. Think about it.

Ahhhh the catalogs are rolling in. Nothing better than a hot august day to deliver 15 or more Christams catalogs to someone who is cutting their grass in shorts or jsut got back from Back-to-School for the kids. As a mailman, I can't complain, it pays the bills. The flip side is comes January when there is a foot of snow and temps are 10 below we'll be delivering Spring/Summer catalogs. Please do not start talkig about Chrismtmas already!!! I am still enjoying the summer and the lack of "holiday spending" that goes along with it!

I swear they deliver the catalogs earlier every year...soon we'll be getting them in January!!!...lol : )

yeah they do that here as well . cept they usually have sales on like 2months b4 x-mas .. so ppl can get in and get some cheap and nasty things..
then around x-mas they release all the latest things and it's just a mad rush to get all these things.
