But they resonated with me like I’d not known before or maybe since. So when Terry unexpectedly died it’s hit me to the same degree as when Bowie died.
Terry was a man of integrity, taste and dry wit. They say never to meet your heroes but I literally bumped into Terry at a gig and he was kind enough to spend time chatting and was so at ease that even though I started out star struck, after a few minutes he chatted like he’d known you for ages.
