MN teddybear's blog post - Need to make a comment after reading thru the fourm...........

I got stuck on one Fourm post about 911.

As for what happened on 911. As a world we should never FORGET. but as Americans we should never forget albe it a huge attack on us that most other countrie have a terrorism for decades. Even in Iraq the population itself and more people are dying from terrorist and suicide bombers than battles and the conflict itself.

People know that I very rarely bring my political views about the war on terrorism or my country here. I refuse to argue with people who can't read HISTORY or get thier information from the tanted MEDIA who want you to hear what they want you to hear. You don't hear about the good things happening in Iraq only the death and destruction but good things are happening. Enough of my rant or I could go on forever. I've been there done that and have the badges and metals.

My heart not only goes out to the familys and friends of the victums of 911 but the soldiers and mostly the families of the soldiers (No matter what country they are from) who are now deployed or have been deployed. They are the true heros and who are making the extrem sacrifices.

Sorry for my rant, Serg/John

Teddy, you and I share service to our country in common, mine was past and I don't like to bring it up because as you say folks will for whatever reason find reason to debate the issue and dwell on the negitive..I have always said and will continue to say I care not if you are for the war or not but when you protest the men and women who put their lives on the line each day to give you that very freedom, the freedom of speech so many take for granted each day at that, then you are really sad..you have the right to protest war, you have a right to not like the decision made by people who never served to send troops to fight but one thing you should always do is support those brave enough to fight for the liberties you take for granted!..
a small reminder to all..the greatest two words you can say to a soldier?? Thank You!

Thank You Teddy for all you do and sacrifice for my freedoms I appreciate it! and god bless our troops and gods speed!
