God is play a trick on us. Already has been below zero and it ain't December yet. But what was really funny was. The Brigade we are training has units attached to it from West Virginia and Oklahoma. I was talking to one of the soldiers from WV up here for a meeting and he says "Is it always this f--King cold here" and I say "Hell yes it is Minnesota" hehehehe.

The east border of Post I work at is the Mississippi river. When you go out the gate andturn to go to the main highway you cross over a bridge. I really didn't realize how cold it had gotten and the river had frozen over. But the current there is so fast that it breaks up during the day. It had made a huge Ice dam and it looked really cool. But again I forgot my camera at my room this weekend.

We have also been out looking over training areas and have been seeing some monster Whitetails. But yet again no camera.

get a cell cam... least its something.. and i remember going to alaska for training... just left texas too..MAN was that cold.

Missing out on awesome pictures happens to me too b/c I don't have a digital cam. But you're right, it is Minnesota and in the Fall/Winter, it's always cold.
