I am shocked & shaken by the events in Ct. today. How could this happen? What can be done to prevent it recurring?

Nothing can be done. I don't mean to be a downer, but that is the reality. He had serious mental issues. So we just have to hope it never happens to any of us.

Getting rid of the "right to bare arms" law might be a good place to start!

putting some discipline back in schools would help, stopping the treating of everyone like a victim and giving them the impression that they are entitled to act out and make antisocial behavior unacceptable. these would be steps in the right direction.
