Saturday, August 24, 2024, 10:11:49 PM- Daisy had all the luck..
Today we were in a village where a jazz group had just set up and was playing outside in a park. We stopped to listen, and these guys were cookin' ! Four young men in their twenties or early thirties, and it was apparent they had been together for a while. Lots of fun, we stayed for the whole show, and left a tip in the jar after the encore. We were on the side, on a picnic table only twenty feet from the band, and most of the crowd was positioned in front of them. A pretty young hippie woman was sitting in the grass, enjoying the show. She was wearing just a lovely white summer dress, and sandals. Both Daisy and I had a good view of her, but only Daisy got to see her flashing. I mean, I looked, but Daisy has sharper senses than me and good timing I guess! So she got to see full bush (all four musicians got a treat too as far as we could tell), hairy armpits when she lifted her arms, and even nipples when we left and the lady bent over. Sexy summertime sensuality.

Monday, July 15, 2024, 1:37:52 PM- Lost my car keys at the nude camping Saturday.
That was a bit of a scare. We had arrived at 11:55 am for a day visit, just in time for the masseuse that we had booked for Daisy. So for the hour-and-a-half that she was getting a well deserved massage, I was at the pool, nicely installed in the shade and diving in and out of the water every now and then, going back to my chair to read or take in the view of nature and the people enjoying themselves. The place is quite vast, maybe a few hundred acres, maybe a little more. Lots of wooded areas, and many large, wide-open spaces. Just a big enough crowd, but especially, an unspoken rule is that folks there tend to keep it quiet. You hear the sound of the wind in the trees, birds, and a bit of talking, but nothing too aggressive unless you are close to a spirited volleyball game or the occasional rowdy fête at the restaurant. Naturists tend to be bons vivants, after all! Daisy comes back from her massage, she still has pillow lines on her face and is looking a little groggy. We decide to have lunch. All is going fine and after eating we spend more time by the pool, then at 4 pm it's my rendez-vous for a massage with the same lady. That is when I have a hunch to check for my keys, and cannot find them! I scurry and look all over, no chance. Not wanting to cancel my massage that was already reserved and paid for, I ask Daisy to look a bit and tell her I'm sorry about the keys, and if she doesn't find them we'll double down when my session is over. The lady has good hands, I ask her to go deep and hard. Although I'm stressing about the car keys to some extent, I begin to drift in and out of sleep while she rubs me slowly but very firmly, with excellent technique. I'm totally nude, but she is dressed in her uniform. Some years ago the ladies would just be butt-ass naked while massaging us. They must have changed the rules along the way, it's easy to imagine some clients getting a bit out of line in such a context. When I get out of the cabin, I am very much hoping that Daisy has a positive expression on her face. It is now 5:30 pm and we would normally be leaving soon. She gives me a sign that she has not found the keys. Now, we are both naked, with only some towels and bags containing magazines and books. All the rest, our clothes, phones, money, food...is in the locked car. So I begin to think, where are we going to sleep if we don't find the keys? Do we call someone we know to come pick us up? Stark naked? And we are two hours away. Can't exactly see us sleeping nude under the car all night. The people there are so nice that it is possible someone would have invited us in their camper, but we want to go home! Daisy and I sit down for a moment and think it through, where was the last time I had the keys and where did we go from there. We are combing all the areas, trying to not make a fuss, but no dice. Finally around 6:05 pm I approach the lifeguard by the pool and ask him about any found keys. He looks me in the eye and asks what would they look like. I'm hoping he's not effing with me! I explain, and he says maybe he can help me. Goes to his cabin and gives me our keys! I almost wanted to hug him, gave him a pat on the shoulder and a heartfelt thank you. Dang, what a relief. Someone had found them in the grass by the chairs we had been using. We'd changed places a few times, trying to stay in areas where the sun was not too intense. I'd just forgotten them on the ground or they had spilled out of my backpack. Anyway, I didn't get sunburn on my wiener that day, so that's a good thing, but the upper thighs I tell you, it's a sensitive area. Was a bit red but nothing serious. We headed back home, thankful. Sun was still out for the ride and we take the scenic route which is part of the pleasure. The next day we decided to go back and do it better. We did arrive at the same hour as Saturday, but no massages this time, just a full afternoon of nude relaxation outside. Folks asked us about the day before, we explained that all was good. Again, so nice to see people au naturel, having a good time and being in the moment. Swimming completely undressed is the best, like being in a sauna nude versus wearing a bathing suit. At ten past six we decided to leave, relaxed. Two beautiful, sunny summer days. More, please.

Why did this remind me of early Roxy Music? Could be the sax, could be the guitar, the passion, the virtuosity, or the straight-up life-affirming vibe that comes off in this performance. Just wanted to share, in the hopes it connects with you in a positive way.

This is a male slate-colored dark-eyed junco that flew into the garage when I was working in the garden recently, and although the door was still open he wasn't finding his way out, flitting up against a window in a bit of a panic. As I approached him, he calmed down and let me scoop him up in my hands. From then he stayed very tranquil, as Daisy took out her phone to take a few pics. We immediately released him afterwards and he flew straight to a high branch in a tree, then looked down at us before going about his way. You can click on the images and toggle them full screen or zoom in more if you wish. Beautiful creature.

Saturday, April 13, 2024, 12:37:10 AM- Today really felt like spring
25 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. Unusually hot for these parts at this time of year in fact. So Daisy and I spent most of the day working outside at home. Plenty to do when we shift from a lengthy and brutal winter to this much more clement season. Snow is now completely melted, bbq and patio chairs are out, lawnmowers ready to go and there are many more hours of preparation for grass repair and flower beds just to name a few things. We are spending more time in the natural world, not near the sea although that would be great too, but definitely near the woods. Our long-standing profile voice greeting was recorded during this period, right outside our door. Birds are sounding happy now, tree frogs just started singing this week.

An nn friend from a Nordic country sent me this pic a while back, and gave me permission to use it in the blog section. I just think it's an awesome photo, and can only imagine how much fun it was to take it. Aurora borealis, I've seen it once in my life, and it was a very humbling experience. Just silence, and the night time sky entirely alive with this mysterious, ever-changing green light, for several minutes.

Fresh pancakes, hot out of the skillets and ready to eat. My own recipe! To be enjoyed with Canadian maple syrup and whatever else you fancy. Oof, I just had four, the last one with whipped cream. Daisy scarfed down two, another family member has not yet eaten breakfast, but there will be quite a few pancakes left over.

King (that's the little nickname I like to give him, even if he is being raised in French) turned 1 recently. He is discovering the joys of cooling off with water on a hot summer day. We also brought him for his very first swim in the lake last week. He's a better swimmer than his grandpa!
