Today I saw on the site a profile pic of someone's face that, immediately upon laying eyes on it, I got a feeling it was AI created. Could be wrong. Just a strong gut intuition though.

AI created pics of people or anything else can now make their way just about anywhere, and they keep getting better. There might come a point where moderators on any site will have a real hard time weeding them out from authentic photos. Not fun.

Last week the subject of making maple syrup came up in status, and it reminded me how I used to make some at home, for several years. It's work, and a lot of patience as it takes tens of gallons of sap to produce a single gallon of pure maple syrup. But I still have all my equipment, so I decided to give it a go again this year. I only put up four buckets but this will be enough to have some fun. The taste of warm, fresh maple syrup straight out of the pot is still an euphoric experience for me, and family members love it too.

You know how your smartphone will listen to you and have whatever you were talking about pop up on it later. Well now I believe technology can read our minds ( I don't but for the sake of the blog I do )

So here's what happened: you might have seen all these memes where the guy is in bed with his girlfriend and she is wondering what he is thinking, probably about another woman, but he's actually reflecting about something totally different like, how to build a lightsaber out of Legos and whatnot. It's true, guys will ponder about the weirdest shit when in bed.

Last night before going to sleep I was asking myself, which artists are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but logically should be? So I figured I would look it up the next morning. Today when I switched on MSN on the web for a bit of entertainment, I swear, there was an article titled ''Artists that should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by now''. It's still there, accompanied by a large photo of Ronnie James Dio! I'd never seen the article before.

So, call me nutty please, 'cause anyone claiming to feel perfectly well-balancedl in this present crazy world, well, they are the ones who scare me the most..

Just a day off, had paperwork and other things to do at home, then the sun came out around 11 am. Was attracted to go outside, went for a walk with our little poodle. Weather didn't look that cold, but wow! That wind just froze me right off the bat. Painful for a few minutes, by the time we were back I thought I'd go right inside, but decided to let the dog in and shovel some snow out of the driveway. Then Daisy called on her lunch hour, she's at work today. I was mostly immobile when talking to her on the phone, walking around a bit sometimes, so I started to freeze again. When I hung up (outdated expression, more like pressed the red button) I decided to finish my shoveling and go in. But...the strange beauty of it was that I was rather well frozen at that point, feeling no more pain, and the sun was still nice and strong. So I let the dog out again and spent another two hours in the elements! We went for another walk, came in about 20 minutes ago. My cheeks are burning from the cold, but it's a nice feeling. Just happy to have enjoyed these moments. Daisy is arriving in a few hours, I'll be preparing us supper.
