It has been a long time since my last post. Work has been keeping me busy, and the crazy winter that we have had here in Colorado has not helped much as well. Now it is starting to look like there may be an end in site. The weather has been slowly warming and most of the snow has melted off here in the city. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that in a couple of weeks the trails in the mountains will be clear enough for me to not only get to, but to hike as well.

Well, summer is here and the hiking has been good. It has been nice to get out of not only the house but out of the city. The only problem has been everyone else has been out and about too. The trails that I was hoping to get out on have been over run with people. This has kind of put a hold on me lossing the clothes or even just enjoying the trail without having to deal with people.

So it is looking like things will have to wait for a little while until I have the time to drive further up into the mountains before I will get to enjoy some clothing free hiking, and of course get some good pictures to post up here at NN. Oh well, it will just make things that much more fun later on. I hope that I don't have to wait until I take my vacation in September.

Well, the weather is atarting to warm up here in Colorado. There is still a chill at night though. A couple of systems have come and gone that cooled things down, but for the most part it is staying warm during the day. I have started going over my trip guide, maps, and the internet. Things are looking good that I'll be able to get some kind of a backpacking trip in. At the very least I'm hoping to get some hiking in.

I really want to try to get at least one backpacking trip in early this spring. I want to try to beat the crowds, after all the point of doing stuff like this (for me any way) is to get away from people and the city for a while.

I've even started planning ahead for a change. The camera batteries are charged and the camera is ready. Now if I can just figure out what the hell I did with the water bladder to my pack I'll be good to go. If its not one thing, then its another..... Sometimes I really hate Murphy's Law.

Well, it has been a long time since I last posted anything. Not much has been going on, just working a lot and trying to stay warm. The past week has been a cold one, the weekend it got down to -13 on the coldest night. Guess I can't complain too much with how mild the winter has been up till now.

I have already started thinking about my backpacking trip. I have been wanting to do this trip for over a year now, and now it is looking like I stand a chance to go. I'm thinking April or June will be the earlest that I could do it. It will just depend on how well the weather is doing up in the mountains where I'm wanting to go. Because of how my work schedule goes I get three day weekends, so it shouldn't be much of a problem to work in a real good over night or even two night trip to test my gear out. Then when I take my vacation in September or October everything should be good to go.

Now I can hardly wait....... Come on warm weather!!!

Hope everyone had a good time celebrating the new year. I ended up having to work so I was out and about and saw just how much fun a lot of people were having. Some people though seemed to have a little too much fun, and got very stupid. Of course I'm sure I would have been the same way if had the night off and spent the night drinking downtown.

Well, the days here are still getting into the 60's so I have not yet given up on going for that hike. This time though I at least have it planned so I can make sure that I bring my camera with me.

Everyone........ I hope you have a good holiday. I thought I would get this out now since I have to work and try and find the time to all of my visits with friends and family. This is going to be one long weekend!

Well, yesterday was almost nice. I got out to do finish my Christmas shopping, and it almost didn't feel like winter here in Colorado. It was hitting in the low 60's, and in the sun it felt warmer than that. After hitting the mall, which during this time of year is always a mistake. I was ready to say to hell with things, and head for the foothills to see if I could get in a hike while the weather was so nice.

While I was fighting with the holiday masses (I swear no one works, I kept thinking about just heading out to find a nice trail. A trail that I would have all to myself where I could enjoy a nice hike in the buff. By the time I got out the weather had changed a little, now the wind had kicked up and the temparture had dropped a little. Since the weather had seemed that it was not going to hold I thought it would be best to just head for home.

Oh well, guess that is just the way it goes. I'm thinking I'll have to wait until spring before I get to have any more fun outside. Damn that sucks!

Well, earlier today I finally got around to uploading a few pictures. So far a lot of people seem to like what I have to show. Please feel free to give some input on what you would like to see. I'm always looking for ideas for more pictures.

Well, I just joined NewbieNudes.com. I'm hoping to make some new friends and have a whole lot of fun. I sure hope this place turns out to be as good as it looks. I've been looking for some place where I could let things "hang out".
