I have made an error of judgement that I am struggling with and it's affecting me. I'm sitting here with a heavy heart 🥺. My own damn fault I know.

I'm not making excuses for myself or want sympathy but I'm ashamed of my actions. I can't apologise enough.

Whatever it was, hopefully it'll feel a little less bad tomorrow, and less bad still the day after. You can't change the past but the future is still up for grabs.

Reading this touched me as I have been in the same situation .. a stupid slip of the tongue .. I think that everyone has done or said something that they regret/wish had never happened .... but 'a done bun can't be undone' .. if you have apologised to the person there is nothing else you can do .. it sounds like it was unintentional so please try and not beat yourself up over it .. if they do not accept your heartfelt apology you have done all that you can ... it is their loss .. soon you can look back and think 'well that happened last year' and you have a whole new year to look forward to ... friends forgive ... I hope that you at least forgive yourself soon ... with love Stu x
