OldTroubador's blog post - Flag Day

Flag Day - 14 June. I missed the date by a couple of days and I do apologize.
In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on that day in 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
The number of stars has changed many times over the last 236 years, but that is all that has changed. It is still the red, white, and blue - the colors that will never run.

And no mention of the flag would be complete without the Pledge of Allegiance.

That is what I love about my job, serving America every day, the flag, the Constitution and the wonderful country for giving me the opportunity to be anything I want to be.
