I have been thinking about perceptions, and how yours can differ from mine purely on what you are exposed to, and what you believe that exposure showed you, and furthermore, how important it is to understand that someone’s perception is just as real to them as yours is to you, hence the saying “your perception is your reality”
Add to this two people who communicate almost totally by written word and the situation is complicated even further. It is my belief that you can only interpret my words to you within the mental space you find yourself at the time of reading, so your understanding and perception of my words is skewed even further, but they are still your reality. This is hard to always remember. Then we have another human trait, there always has to be a bad guy, as long as it is not me….
Result………………….. a fuck up.
