You know when, for a long time, you have been marking time, plodding along and allowing life to lead you by the nose, and then suddenly focus returns?

Well, it finally happened with me. We tend to fall into a daily grind, we grind out our jobs, our relationships, our recreation. It's almost like we live in tunnels, tunnel from home to work, tunnel from work to home. Tunnel from home (or work) to the club, play squash, tunnel home. Same friends, same places. It all becomes so dreary and we lose purpose.

A chance meeting with someone made me see my business in a completely different light, and while spending time thinking about that I realised that I had a project - don't we all love a project- and with that project comes a new reason to get up and get going in the morning. Its such a great place to be in and the benefits permeate to all areas of your life.

I guess the lesson is to stay creative, looking for change and new things. Not always easy to do when we become fixed in our ways, but if we have to live our time out, it should be lived while being productive, proactive and fulfilled.

Sounds exciting buddy. You're right of course, drifting into mediocrity is easy, but some reach a point (age??) when they realise life needs a damned good living. Be happy!
