Is nothing sacred anymore? Is nothing profane?

Well...We haven't had much of a chance to play around here for awhile - school & all - but did a bit of mailing and perusing this morning, and was immediately reminded of the downward trend from which it seems this site is unable to recover.

Browsed pics for what was probably a total of 10 minutes and saw ALMOST NOTHING BUT internet porn. Complimenting this frustration was the nifty little red screen that our curators have 'tweaked' to come up every third screen or so, prompting you to become a premium member. 10 minutes. 6 prompts to upgrade.

So what I'm wondering is this: Can anyone tell me how I might undermine NN's surfing the next time he's on with a big red pop-up screen that reads "I'D LOVE TO BECOME A PREMIUM MEMBER, AND WILL BE THE FIRST IN LINE TO SO - THE SECOND YOU GET ALL THIS FAKE BULLSHIT OFF OF YOUR SITE!!!"

...Just thought he'd appreciate the perspective.

I wonder if it might be worth trying another "vote/rating" button that applied only to what appeared to be internet porn - lessee...

You only get to vote one of the lines, one of which is for "real", as we wish now, and the other line which not only rates the picture, but also says that you believe it is from the net.

If the poster made it easy and let you know it is from the net (as some do) that could lock out the "real" bar of ratings.

Now, it might be possible for premium members, at least, to have access to a feature that blocked pictures that a majority of people believed was simply netporn.

I wonder if a thread on the forum could flesh this thought out, or if it has been tried before (I'm such a newbie newbienudie)
