SuchSluts's blog post - Spring Brake (zing!)

Fuckin...phew.

Having navigated two breakdowns, week-long all-night cram sessions, a project, three mid-terms and a quiz, Thursday evening finally creeps its happy loafing ass into existence.

Done.

So the Mizz and myself elected to celebrate by kicking our feet up with some videos. Going at that point on about 4 hours of sleep over a few nights, I don't remember much of the experience. - Something about making 2 or 3 different trips the the shelf to pick out video games that they ended up not having and asking her not to take me there on little or no sleep in the future as the likelihood of choking incidents is phenomenally increased.

*Aside: Does anyone else have this problem with their Blockbusters refusing to sort their shelves more than twice a year?

Any rate, we finally got out of there with......ah yeah - the sci-fi channel, 4-hr version of Dune, Children of Dune (4 hr), and some episodes of Six Feet Under (first season). The recent Dunes are obligatory for any fan and awesome, of course. Funny thing, we had already rented and watched them both not too long ago. Read as: I fell asleep, and she *junked out* on the shit. I had seen them both when they originally aired and loved them, but she had not. I laughed my ass of when I woke up at 4 in the morning to find her sitting up glued to the set, having to be to work in 2 hours.

Bwah. So we re-rented them this time b/c ChiChi is doing the final paper in her God, Space and Time class on Dune. I fall and fall...

Six Feet Under is also growing on me quite a bit. We had been loving Dexter (Showtime - rent season 1!) when my sister steered us toward this one. We got episodes 4-7 this time, still in season 1, but it has my full attention; we're both beginning to like it.

On and on. Still no plans for pictures any time in the nipple-freezing future, but I came across a tubsy set from recently that we had forgotten about. See if we can't throw a few new ones up this week; wouldn't that be refreshing.

I kiss your hair your skin so bare
I'll take you with me girl anywhere
You fare well in stormy weather
I never met a girl that I like better
