Today is finally a beautiful day! No snow, not to cold, and it's actually sunny!! who knew those days still existed?

it's in the 50's the snow is melting the sun is bright it's just all out beautiful

this weekend is supposed to make it in the upper 60's! It's kind of nice to watch the snow melt, makes me look forward to putting out plants and flowers as soon as spring comes.

So it snowed yet again not as much this time, but enough to again coat everything white. As beautiful as it can be it can also be dangerous. Icy slippery-ness! I'm sure there are other people out there dealing with snow and ice and probably have treated wood decks. Well howlin being awesome found something to help melt ice on treated wood, as metal snow shovels and salt can ruin the treated wood. one quart of warm water, three drops of dish soap and one ounce of rubbing alcohol. Mix it together and spray in on the wood, if you don't have a spray bottle, you can just mix it together and pour it on.

it works pretty good and dries fairly quickly!

it's snowed off an on for days.. and days. Last night it dumped a pretty big one down on us. Woke up this morning after not much sleep and saw that everything was white so I took snow shovel and cleared the porches. I don't know why but the snow just seemed dreary and made things sad. I put on my grandfathers shirt today, it used to smell like him... I used to be able to pick it up and everything would just feel right. But it doesn't smell like him anymore I just have his memories. His birthday will be the 22nd of this month, I hope that heaven is well for him. I wont forget his words,.. Life is never perfect,.. you can't always win but you always keep your faith. ..I miss him..

It seems that every time I look outside there has been snow that fell over night. I woke up this morning and the ground was basically covered with snow, nothing to bad, just enough to turn things white. I got to watch the small snow flakes drop down the sky like little innocent pieces from heaven.

it's beautiful and yet a pain at the same time lol it makes me not want to drive or even get out of bed, just snuggle up under the covers and watch tv! But I moved in rain/snow/sleet/ice so if I can handle that I can handle anything right? lol Hope all is well with all you awesome NN people

As much as I hate moving, I finally got moved, after painting and laying down floor, and spending all waking hours of the past couple of days moving things from one house to another most the stuff is moved to the new Hillbilly home, and I love it more than anything!

...on another note, I have so much to catch up on here in the land of NN!!

hows it going everyone? What did I miss? ...anything new? lol

So yesterday I walked down to the mailbox,.. just knowing It was going to be full of flyers and junk mail that I'm still not sure why they send because I always throw it away and hardly ever look through it (what a waste of paper) ANYWAY,.. there it was the package that held two awesome H-D poker chips!

with a nice little note with them. Thanks *TA* for the poker chips! We didn't have either of those places yet

We love the gift!

Yeah, you know that dreaded day for some is coming up, ...the big V DAY!

The day that some men rush and panic and try to find something or plan something in hopes that is will be right! lol Do any of you lovely NN'ers have any plans for this day? Hopefully something out of the norm! Always gotta love doing something new and different, or romantic if you have a busy hectic life

I have a few ideas, now to just put them into motion!

Have you ever walked about in public and just wondered what the world would be like if everyone were allowed to walk around naked?...I suppose that there would be plenty of accidents reported,.. plenty of pictures all around the internet, and plenty of people getting things for free

So Howlin had some errands to run for the new place, he was picking up supplies for the back deck

well I stayed home and sat with my mom-in-law. She was napping and so I went on about a little photo shoot and played with the B&W feature on the camera and I really liked this photo!

There will always be times in life where things seem so depressing, sad, or down right awful. All I can say is always remember to be thankful for what you do have, stop thinking about what you use to have or want to have,.. and start praying for the better times to come. Stay positive in everything you do, everything you think and thank the good lord when it comes your way. This has become my away of thinking in the last 15 months, and they have been wonderful months. They say everything happens for a reason, even if you don't see it at that moment!

Have a positive week everyone, smile you never know what can happen
