Am I the only one that likes the crazy toe socks that don't match and are fuzzy?.. how about the new crazy scarfs with hand pockets? How friggen awesome right?.. Maybe I'm just a little bit crazy. or maybe I'm just getting in touch with that girly side I don't know, but the fuzzy stuff seems to be awesome, especially in the winter ... almost finished making my scarf and can't wait for more snow to wear it and play outside.

It's getting even closer to Christmas, still have to pick up what I plan to make for dinner. Just about everything else is taken care of, gifts, tree decorations etc. It's my second Christmas with my hillbilly and I'm loving every min of it. With all that has gone on in the past month basically we have been fighting (no not against each other, but at each others side to help each other) He has been through a lot and I have done my best to help him through it, and It may not have been as much as I wish it was but I know I tried.

We are both ready for the holidays, we both have a plan set for after the holidays and know what we want to do to get there and get it done, and I think that it will get accomplished because we are both fighters and will push till we get it done, one of the things that I love so much about him. There are many things to love about him, his personality, his beliefs, his sense of humor and that devilishly handsome smile, and his ruggedly handsome looks (sighs with a smile) He is what makes our Christmas special to me, not the gifts and decorations, not the food etc just him!

Anyway Ill stop being mushy and just say, I hope that everyone else is this lucky, and will be spending a wonderful Christmas with someone they love or care about When ya get right down to it, that's all that's important anyway.

Sturgis, the newest edition to the family. He's been here for about what 3 months? Maybe a little longer. This boy is the reason that Sugar wakes up WAY early compared to everyone else here. You see little Sturgis has to have his way, if he wants to be in the bed, he HAS to have it, if he wants what you are eating, he HAS to have it,... to the point he sits there and cries and cries and cries,.. =\ The little guy must have an eating disorder, he snaps the food from your hands, he's even be caught stealing the food out of the other dogs mouths ...hes even got fat rolls around his neck and tail already >.< think he needs to be put on a diet and taught some manners =) but he doesn't looks like a little ole meanie spoiled brat does he?


lol Gotta love the little guy anyway, just needs to be a little more less greedy and spoiled

So, I decided to try to slow cook some deer tenderloin in the crock pot, with some Jack Daniels BBQ ... and OMG ,.. for those of you who also enjoy this type of food, I suggest you try it! ... it makes the best BBQ sandwiches ever! ... I just had to say that as I tasted it and found it was just absolutely awesome! and howlin appears to agree with how good it is, lol he enjoyed his sandwich too! *flex* yeahhhh good idea!

Don't really see much of them around here, but you gotta love to see all the Christmas lights that go up! A lot of places do a little some do a lot and some just go over board, but it can often be very beautiful to see! I love it!

Before anything else in this blog, I want to thank the Kid for the awesome shirts that he had sent me and howlin, also the awesome Harley Skull Chip set for a surprise was awesome! (yes I didn't wait till Christmas to open it, because,.. well.. I was impatient)

so THANK YOU FOR THAT.

My Christmas is up like I said and looks awesome, I got the Christmas shopping done,.. All of Howlin's gifts and his mom's gifts. I made his mom a hand made crocheted scarf she seems to like that kinda stuff ... I got everything wrapped and ready to be put under the Christmas tree. HOPEFULLY things will be slowing down a little

Yeah, it's been awhile since I have blogged, I want to thank all those that sent messages and birthday wishes for Howlin, and those that sent Happy Thanksgiving messages.

It's been some long days here with a lot of work and praying etc going on. Somethings are finally done with and we are able to breath, and others, well we are still working on those.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I hope the holidays are treating you all well. Merry Holiday wishes to you all.

So Today is my Hillbilly's birthday!(so if you get a chance tell him happy birthday!) He is out enjoying the first day of rifle season, that happens to be on his birthday, (Awesome I know!) So while he is away I have started dinner and making his cake. First off I fried some apples

Then I turned on the slow cooker and put in a deer roast (his fav) in some cream of mushroom soup with some seasons, and later to add potatoes!

Then I put together a spice cake (also his fav) he said he would rather have a cake that I made then me going out to get him one, so I decided to make the one I KNOW he loves!

Those fried apples from before? Those went into the spice cake! OH YEAH, I may be no professional but I can make a mean cake that all will enjoy!


Off to a good start for the day! Can't wait till he gets home!
