Christmas Wishes

Its that time of year when the jolly fat man comes into town,
And brings a smile to your face like when at the circus and u see a clown,
You hang up your stocking and then strategically place your mistletoe,
Then lead the person you want underneath it, you know the go,
You spend time with the family and relatives but rarely seen,
And count the time and memories from the days, months and years that its been...

So you get to a point where you prepare you christmas wish list,
Weather its a DVD Player, Sony Playstation or if your a child a HULK fist,
But sometimes we forget to wish for the things that really do matter,
Like the enjoyment of family and the sound of ur friends voice when they chatter,
So this year I wish for the soldiers who serve, and the people who protect us on this green earth,
And hope that in time to them i can prove to them my own self worth..

Just wishing for safety and happiness in this merriest of seasons,
And wish happiness for our friends and even our enemies cause they to have their reasons,
And i hope that one day we can stand united and look proud,
And remove the darkness and bitterness of war's darkening cloud,
So you ask me what i wish for in the times that im sad, lost or blue,
Its that you be kind to others and in time they will always be kind to you..
