Gift PremiumI am very happily divorced. It's not that I'm done with love/relationships, etc, it's that I'm not actively looking.

I've never been someone who's into team sports, though I do like basketball. For sports I've enjoyed participating myself, I've always preferred solitary ones, my favorite being weight-lifting. It's been ages since I've gone to a gym, but I have some free weights at home. As far as team sports go, though, I am a huge advocate of school sports. If I had to pick a football team, it would be The Cowboys...but I don't have anything in their colors...my second choice-only partly cause I love purple- The other players: bighoss2, guitartxn, happyhumper69, MarkandLacey, Whispermyname, Kinda_Sweet13, MissOwl, curious48, 12gaugefan, Burger80, needsithard, ibhunting, dziga, thekid53, ThicknHard1forU, Wrigley, unicornsam, VTCali, privatedancer4u, rockhard6isback, jenjen1018, antiderivative, Northern Star, onib28, sidders73, opedius, Safire13, BuxomXhunter, redvs4u, and tight_wet_lips. Taking a coffee break but what I really need is a nap...played a little game of musical refrigerator...but I have mine back now. I don't know how long it's going to take to be sure it is indeed working correctly, but on the plus side, it's clean. (Minus a couple things on the door I hadn't gotten around to cleaning yet before mine was fixed properly.) Good thing I did my pics for the blog challenge a few days ago. (I don't always procrastinate everything.) Cause I haven't even gotten in the shower yet. And I never had lunch with my oldest. Even if something hadn't came up for her, I couldn't go anywhere. The maintenance guy is terrified of my dog. All six-and-a-half+ feet of him. She's so vicious.

Haven't gone to bed yet cause I'm enjoying how quiet it is here. And now that there aren't any distractions, I can focus my thoughts where I want them (or where there going to end up, irregardless of whether I want them to or not.) But since it's basically bedtime, that's just fine. In fact, it's perfect.

I was going to rent a movie/movies...until I saw how hard it was snowing. I think it's colder outside than it is inside my freezer. (It's making noise and blowing coldish air, most of the time, anyways. I've moved it, cleaned off behind it-can't fit a broom let alone a vacuum hose underneath it. I could take the back off and maybe vacuum that out, but since it's not mine, I thought it would be better I don't and just call in the morning. And of course, it would happen on the weekend. Frustrating.)

Creme de cacao...best thing for girl issues...only one thing that works better and I'm staying away from that. My friend is beyond driving me crazy. My oldest (who is now a licensed cosmetologist) did an ombre hair-dye job on her hair. For free. Dark brown on the top, dark red on the bottom. She had to bleach the ends before dying them. Anyway, my friend calls me to tell me she waited a few days to wash her hair, then washed it in cold water (cause they-my daughter and her supervisor) told her not to use hot water and she used the shampoo they recommended...and the color was coming out. I explained to her-since I've dyed my hair red tons of times-that happens for the first couple of weeks. But she insisted ALL of it came out. And that it is now a light brownish/orange color. After one single wash. My red hair was a lighter color than hers and it had to be bleached twice to get all the red out. My youngest had red hair color that was supposed to wash out. After over 6 months, it took a lightener to remove the last of it. Because red hair dye is the hardest color to get out. So either she's lying about the present color of her hair or she's lying about what she did to it. This isn't the first time she's done something like this. She wanted my oldest to drop whatever she was doing to cut her hair. When my daughter wouldn't, she texted her a picture of what appeared to be a pile of her hair. (Which she hadn't cut.) She has told people she has cancer (she doesn't) that she's a semester away from having a degree in psychiatry (even if she'd graduated high school, there aren't any med schools anywhere in the vicinity.) There's things she's said to others, especially when she's mad at me about something...I could go on...but the point is, she's acting super-flaky right now. And I personally, cannot understand why people lie. I mean, sure, I get people lie for various reasons. Like they think people won't like them if they're truthful, or they won't get what they want from them if they are honest about their intentions. Or maybe creating drama is how they get attention. But I still don't understand it. I find dishonesty to be an insult to my intelligence. And flat-out making shit up? You're really testing my patience. Well, that's enough bitching. For now. I don't enjoy being in a cranky/irritable mood. (What I really want right now is cuddling. And sex. Which is a nice change cause usually I only want the latter.) Tomorrow, I think I'll rent "Les Miserables" and Monday, I'm supposed to have lunch with my oldest. Right now, I'm still kinda hurting. Some ibuprofen with a little creme de cacao and I'll feel fine.

In spite of the kaka weather, I'm feeling quite a bit better. Turns out, in the bag of oranges I just bought Monday evening, there was a really bad one in the bottom of the bag. Allergies, the one thing that makes me more ill than my mental health issues. Still a little tired, but I should be fine by tomorrow. I wish my allergies were as easy to deal with as my depression. That, I just wait out (when everything else isn't helping) and eventually, it recedes. But if I tried that tactic with my allergies, I'd only feel worse and worse. I told my girls I want to see "Les Miserables" and they were like "why?" I didn't watch much tv growing up. (Which is why my adoptive parents never grounded me from it.) But I did watch a lot of musicals, with them, and at my foster sister's house. (I'm still waiting for "Cloud Atlas" which is now supposed to be available May 14.)

My favorite Jewel song. Never listened to her sing country before. I prefer her non-country songs, but I really like the lyrics to this one. So very tired...stayed up to watch "Psych." So I should be going off to bed now. I need a good night's sleep, one that's longer than 5 hours.
