Went to the bar last night and some sports channel was reviewing superbowl XLVII again. Anyway, here is my rundown. In the first half the 49ers came to play, the Ravens came to win. It was an exciting first half; not the best in SB history, but a good one. The second half got off with a bang, great touchdown return. Then the lights went out. SF came back to almost win the game, but the goal line stand by the Ravens at the end of the 4th quarter was fantastic. Now the aftermath. As soon as they can blame someone for the failure of the lights it will be the super-super-bowl of torts! The networks will sue for lost revenue (they had to broadcast for 30 minutes without a commercial), the NFL will sue for delaying the game, the stadium, the city, the contractors, builders, designers of the dome, electric company, building committies, equiptment manufacturers, etc, will all be sued and counter sued. In the end the lawers will get most of the money; and if you devide that by the 30 minutes of the delay it will make the average cost of a 1 minute advertising slot of 6 to 8 million dollars look pale in comparison. If you really want to get screwed, see a lawyer.
