Well, I do believe I have the best job ever...
I have been working for my current employer for just over 10 years now and my role just keeps growing and I've been given a whole lot of new responsibilities... these responsibilities involve road trips... yay...
my next trip will give me a week out of the office... but it is a huge amount of driving... leaving early Monday morning I'm heading up to Tamworth, I'll spend the night there before making my way over to Coffs Harbour, then on up to Lismore, maybe stay the night in Lismore or depending on time I might head to Tenterfield for the night, then in to Glen Innes, before heading back to Tamworth for the night, Thursday I'm heading down to Dubbo.. then back into my home town Friday.... and all along the way I'll be visiting small country cemeteries... lol... the interesting or maybe creepy aspect to the whole trip, checking out the condition of grave sites, which my employer is responsible for the general upkeep of...

Weird and creepy maybe... but I do enjoy my job!

Not weird and creepy at all. That's so awesome to hear someone who loves their job. I WAS (past tense) surrounded by negative people last year. They are all gone now and kicking stones.

sounds very cool, road trips are good, even better when getting paid for them ;) lol, but seriously, its good to see someone love their job. If one of your road trips brings you up this way, give me a buzz ( like the pun there? lol ) and we should catch up :)

earlier in my career I traveled a lot, at one point being out for 16 str8 weeks, but it was during a time i was on the road for 2 years, now to just go for a two day trip is ugh, lol, but I wouldn't trade those road warrior days for anything, learned a lot, met a lot of interesting people, helped in my career and where i am now. Enjoy the time you have to yourself, big smiles, wink xxx
