There have been so many messages here wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, and I too hope a fun day was had by all, but on Christmas my thoughts are generally with those less fortunate than most, Christmas Day is not a very good day to many people, so I am always glad to see it over and wish for a better year ahead.
Just before Christmas my fridge broke down, and I lost a whole heap of food, Christmas Eve a friend delivered a loan fridge for me to use and then on Boxing Day another person arrived and fixed my fridge.... I was very grateful to them both for this, as I had tried so hard to get a tradie out to look at it for me and nobody would.
Anyway, while my eldest and I were pulling it apart I dropped the freezer door onto her head..... and my boob.... my boob cushioned the hit onto her head but as a result I have a wonderful bruise on it..... its fading now but it was sore there for a bit....and I have a bruised forehead which I just cant explain... I don't drink often so I can't blame it on drinking too much.... oh well that injury will just be filed in the ever growing "I don't know how I did it" basket.
Boxing day resulted in a too much chocolate headache.... wow, I haven't had a chocolate headache like that for a very long time.... I do wish I wasn't allergic to that stuff.....
Anyway.... I hope the new year gets here before I have any more injuries.... and I will be much more careful in 2014.... I will even try harder to cut down on the chocolate....
