bOObzman's blog post - Weekend in the country

Hi! Went up north for a weekend with my two sisters and had a very relaxing time. Just what the doctor ordered. Put the top down Friday afternoon and got up there just after dark. Stopped at a classic drive in Dog 'N Suds for a Rootbeer and burger.
Lots of laughs recalling our childhood years and looking at old pics with a few beers. Sat. morn hit the road to Lake Geneva and the classic wood boat show. After drooling over them for an hour it was off for a ride on the backroads - just repaved and had the road to ourselves. Sweet. Stopped at a lil country tavern for an ice cold Bud or two and then back to the house for a few more and a short nap.A wonderful steak dinner at a lil country inn, watched The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel movie and then slept like a rock. Up early for coffee and out the door thru some fog before the sun came. Top down, coat on (the heater is broke)but was a nice relaxing Sunday ride home. Back to reality tomorrow.
