Thanks everyone. I think a letter is a good idea. The reason I wanted to call him is because I don't want people changing my mind while I am away. To them he is still my dad but thats not how I see it. Yes he is my father and always will be but I need him out of my life. I don't wish him unwell or anything like that, I just need to move on.
