cas999's blog post - Where do I start?

2010 has certainly been the ‘year of change’ – I don’t think there is one person I know who is not having some kind of personal ‘challenge’ some really positive and some very tragic.

2010 started with Mum being diagnosed with terminal cancer – up to 18months they said.

3 months into 2010 I lost Pooch, that really was traumatic and I have missed his company dreadfully every day since.

8 months into 2010 Mum lost her battle with cancer, that was almost 2 weeks ago now and I cannot put into words how things have been up to and since her passing. I really am numb.

One thing that has been consistent in 2010 is the overwhelming love and support I have received from friends (read between the lines for family lol) – not a day has gone by without one of my friends looking out for me, I consider myself truly blessed with them.

NN really is a community, for those who ‘bah’ at being able to make true friends online I can testify it’s true.

Airboy – Quietly there, as if stood behind me with one hand on my shoulder. Never intrusive but always concerned for my welfare – you should have a million girlfriend’s lol
Vibeboy – A great support with our natters in ‘chat’
~Smoke~ - yeah I know – ~Smoke~! For all your banter and bravado etc in chat you really do have a heart of gold
It’s – Not seen you about much but every time I have you have looked out for me

To all my other NN friends, you have helped keep me sane! I purposefully did not spill this information out across everywhere as I really needed NN Chat to be my ‘fun place’, somewhere I could pop in and have a laugh and joke and escape all the madness that was going on in the ‘real world’ - let’s keep it that way - Heartfelt thanks to you all too xxxxxxx
