Friday, February 15, 2008, 3:12:04 AM- Car insurance
After my accident I was thinking of just taking care the damages myself but when I got the estimate of 2,600 bucks(just his car) I kind of thought he was getting a super high estimate. I took pics of the accident and the damage to his car was very minor. I spoke to my insurance agent today and he had mentioned that THEORETICALLY, if I were to get in to an accident it would only raise my rates 100 bucks every 6 months. It seems that Safeco works on a points system and since I have a point dropping off my insurance by next premium I'll only be up one point on top of where I'm at now. Being confused about this point I asked where the point came from and it's from a few years ago. I got pulled over for having expired tabs. How the hokey smokes does that end up on your insurance? Apparently speeders were getting lawyers and mitigating the citation down to a non moving violation, usually expired tabs. That being said it looked to Safeco as if I had a speed violation. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.

Thursday, January 31, 2008, 2:36:47 AM- Car accident
For all the bitching and screaming I do I shouldn't ever get in to an accident. But yesterday was my day to go boom. I blew it and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and I struck another vehicle. The damage to his car was fairly minimal but it screwed my car up something fierce. Oh well, shit happens. So what do I do....I immediately start bitching about other drivers as I drive my busted up POS down the icy road. 15 minutes later when I was picking up something I wanted to throttle every bastard that told me to be careful out there as the roads were slick. Thanks for the heads up but where the hell were you earlier. Sooooooo be careful out there the roads are slick. You have been warned.

I found out that I have super powers. Yes, truly! I have the power to turn invisible. Now before you start thinking it's time to hire me for birthday parties and barmitvahs. These powers manifest at one place and one place only. I have no ability to control this gift but I'm sure some day with the proper training I could finally live out the dream of anonymity! I discovered my new found power today while at Costco. For some reason as soon as I park people don't seem to see me or anything I'm in contact with. Great for bank heists I'm sure. Anyway, as I was cruising through he aisles I noticed that people wouldn't move themselves to one side or another but would block an entire aisle. Surely they wouldn't do that if they were to see me no one is that rude. People were cutting me off with their carts to get the free samples. I'm positive nobody would be brash enough to cut off a guy pushing a baby in his cart for a quarter sized piece of french bread. For some reason the only people that can see me are the people that work there so, no Costco theft. Check out time and that's never fun at Costco. After waiting for the people to check my receipt an old man bumped my cart out of his way. I was in a line and there was no reason to do it. What really cheesed me off was that I had my daughter in the cart. I let it go as all I could think was that the old guy was going to die within the next year and I should indulge him in his Costco derby regardless of the carnage inflicted on others. Besides, I was still invisible! I realized my gift had gone away when a woman in a giant SUV stalked me for my parking spot. The lady waited 5 minutes as I loaded my stuff and the baby in to the car. Oh well, I guess it's best my ability faded as I'm not sure I wouldn't be influenced by the dark side of the force. Where's the girls locker room?

Have you ever wanted to get a blunt object and go Mcgwire with steroids on some bastards car? I'm Captain Road Rage and man have I gotten close to it. These chumps are driving around with snow and ice on their windows to where they can't see. Call me crazy but when they cut me off I think they deserve the kind of justice only Easton can provide. Where are the cops when you need 'em and how can I get some of the roids Barry, Sammy and the rest of the MLB is on? Green light so batter up!

Monday, December 24, 2007, 12:46:14 AM- Christmas Tradition
Tradition is very important to us as a species and sometimes it's great to see the younger generations carry the torch with out having to be pushed in to it. Imagine the glee I felt when walking in to the daycare only to hear a child singing one of the holiday classics. "Jingle bells batman smells..." I remember hearing that for the first time when I was in 1st grade on the playground at Juanita elementary school. Now I'm states away in a different culture with a population that couldn't even pronounce my old school's name and yet the traditional music lives on. When I first heard the song I felt dirty and as if I was getting away with something by just hearing it's blasphemous lyrics. Yet when you think about it Batman probably would actually smell. Anyway, it's a wondrous thing to hear that the kids will carry on the traditional music we all grew up on. Thank you mystery child and Merry Christmas to all and to all a non smelly Batman!
