What the hell. I come home from the Celtics game Monday night which kick ass seats by the way! Sitting right behind Marv Albert and Reggie Miller! To my left was Donnie wahlberg and to my right was Doug Flutie! My Brother lost his voice! hahahha Celtics lost but it was a good game.
Anyways I come home an Hubbs is asleep on the couch, I wake him up and he shows me a rash on his arm. Ohh nooo let me see your chest two bumps there and bumps all over his arm. By the time he woke in the morning and took a shower he was covered in bumps. Convinced it was chicken pox( which he never had) I called the Dr and made him an appt for the afternoon. As the morning went on my Hubby's arm was swollen it was like a balloon ready to pop. wtf. OMG it's not the chicken pox even though he is covered with what must be 4 to 500 bumps all over his body. Rush him to the Dr. they ask where the rash first started Upon closer examination they see a bite mark! A severe allergic reaction from a spider bite...
It's been 36 hours now on steroids and antibiotics, cream, some initial bumps have gone down but new ones have appeared. He feels at times like his body is on fire inside out. Bags of ice & Benadryl too. He is so uncumfy
It amazes me that this happened, my Hubby spent his life picking up anything and everything letting it crawl all over him. Insects spiders snakes chipmunks. He is the Spider relocator in our house! he wont kill em. When he was a teen he has a pet tarantula that would crawl all over him, chill on his shoulder for hours at a time. The venomous sac was removed so it could be a pet but guess what it still hurt and stung like a son of a bitch when it bit hubby once!His arm got infected even a red line, went to the Dr blah blah blah but nothing like what is going on with him now, and to think his Parents and I were so nervous for him over that tarantula bite! The arm where the bite mark is looks like it has a 3rd degree sunburn and the rest of his body is covered in a rash.
Hubbs Dr was out on Tuesday so he saw another doc in the office, I want to give his Dr a call this morning let him know there really hasn't been any improvement and new bumps...
