This entire week was full of fun,fun & more fun. My Son and I have been swimming all week, went to 2 Children's Fair's. One sponsored by the Parks Rangers they had all sorts of games for the kids, even potato sack races!! Lots of how to be safe/rescue demos when hiking, camping, fishing etc. How to tie certain knots for climbing.They even had a demo of how they would rescue different types of animals. My Son loved the water net gun and loved seeing the latest tranquilizer gun. Then later on we went swimming!
Spent the next day swimming all day it was awesome!
The next fair was a Back to school fair sponsored by our Mayor.Our first time attending one due to us homeschooling until last year, anyhow I was a bit unsure of going to the neighborhood it was in,but it was an event for all Boston school children so why not go! I'm glad we did the school fair was awesome.The only thing that stunk was waiting outside in line in the hood honestly not the best place to have it. All sorts of back to school supplies even a backpack! All for free. yes free! As long as your child was with you and brought their report card! At the end prizes(books and helmets) were giving out for honor roll. My Son's backpack was stuffed!He was so proud he "earned" all of that from his good grades! Then later on we went swimming again.
Yesterday I babysat my beautiful Niece( which I had her for the whole weekend last weekend..It rocked!! lol Love babies!!)
I came home to Hubby and Smooth playing xbox360 but the wrapped it up early and Smooth went home so we decided to take a nighttime drive thru the city it was a breezy night windows down listening to the sounds of downtown,Beacon Hill, Faneuil Hall. All the lights reflecting of the waterfront. It was a beautiful night for drive!
And today wow was the best Family day, we went to Canobie Lake Park.My Son and I went on so many rides he really surprised us this year with which rides he chose!AS a matter of fact Hubby surprised me too with a few of the rides he chose to go on! It was soo cool!! The first ride my Son says he wants to go on is called superblast(i think) shooting 12 people 125 feet in the air super fast with your legs dangling. OMG I was scared shit less!! lol The terror coming from his screams!Yes I screamed once but had to stop I knew it would make little man even more scared! Stop the fucking ride that was the longest 25 seconds of my life!! Yeap the ride was over that fast! Hubby got a great video of us! lmao After that My Son was fearless we hit all the rides except for the loop to loop upside roller coaster(Thank God although a part of me wanted to go on it! lol) even at the water park there, he was fearless. He hated water slides before hahahhah Now he had to go down them all at least 50 times each or so it seemed! Such a blast the whole day was,They even had a Blues Brothers performance! it was cool we danced a bit! We just about closed the park we couldn't believe that it was dark out all of a sudden we had been there since mid morning! I couldn't leave with out buying candy apples mmmm mine is dipped in caramel with mini m&ms mmmmm.
Taking a shower and off to bed, Hubby & Son passed out in the chair in the living room the look so adorable sleeping! I have to wake them though ,Hubby can carry the boy to his bed he's to heavy for me! lol
