d_ashley's blog post - Time for thanks...

I live the usual life. such as where I live most of the trailers are rentals and so on occasion you'll see people just up and leave taking all their belongings with them...



and since April such as the job that I had for the past eleven years is now gone, and so I got the usual job of delivering pizzas, and so while driving on all the usual streets I must deal with the usual traffic...


and the usual biker dude...


and the usual pets...


and then all the usual customers...


and more...


and more...


with each and every day as I deliver pizzas all around town. but working here does have its usual perks, such as the lady friend of the boss who shows up to say hello every now and then so that I may get a goood look at this...


and this...


and so there is nothing that is unusual about my life until I do come across what is not the usual and that is the sight of this while coming home from work...


or the sight of this while making a delivery...


or this...


or this as a whole...




...though I cant pay all my bills nor have a job that I used to have I can truly say that to be thankful then we must all open our eyes and see that what we perceive in what would be the usual cannot be possible as long as we take a moment to see the beauty and wonderment of it all for the gift of sight along with the gift of good health is enough to make our lives a blessing to have...and to give thanks for on this day. amen
