Life at the farm is sweet this time of year! There are millions of apple blossoms out the door making the whole place smell like heaven. I have the vegi garden all planted (except the potatoes) just cant seem to get to those. The chickens are out scratching and bug eating and generally earning their keep.

It may be boring now but when harvest time comes you won't have a moment to think! I really wish I was able to live on a farm...

as someone who grew up in a small village I value the morning egg which came right from a chicken's bum :-)

sounds to me like JL is an ass-bandit!...watch out for her... :)~

Any chicken that isn't earning it's keep should be feathered...and then either bbq'd...or fried....

gravy is optional...milk-gravy is preferred though...

double-yolk omlettes taste better btw...
