On the news tonight, the report wasn't about someone's truck falling thru the ice......Oh no.....it was about how large the fine was if you leave it there for more than 30 days.

Good question. If you leave our truck in the water for more than 31 days, the fine is triple the cost of pulling it up thru the ice.

But what's the global warming angle? See, the didn't consult Al Gore... trucks in MN should NOT be going through ice, but able to travel on it safely w/o incident. At least that's the story I've heard about the frosty north for years. :)

gah I dont know how many stories are on the news every winter about cars and trucks going through the ice, but this year we dont have any so I am wondering which idiot will be the first to try and drive across an open lake??

Park your truck on the ice here this year and I think you'll be safe until around August:(
