As some of you may or may not know, I am a big freak for historic preservation. At a meeting this afternoon I had a conversation with a guy who had just returned from negotiating the salvage rights for this BIG old building about an hour north of here.
It is central building for a mine that was operational in the 20's and 30's. He says it is 8 stories tall and over a 1/4 mile long. This just twists my panties. I HAVE to see this as they are going to start tearing it down in a few weeks.
