I read a long rambling hate filled letter to the editor today proposing a "holy jihad" against gay and lesbian people. This in a newspaper that says it will not print letters that aren't "civil" Am I missing something here? You bet your sweet bippy I fired off a rebutal. And I longed for the wordsmithery of Redpenpete. I hope I didn't come off as stupid as the author of the first letter. The fight for freedom lingers on in this messy experiment we call democracy.
