I'm a Grandpa!
So as not to confuse anyone new to the Depotguy saga. I am a firm believer in the "family of choice" idea. When I looked around my life and realized I was not going to have children of my own, I decided to have children of choice. One of my "sons" was killed in a car accident in florida and it was one of the saddest days of my life. So today, on one of the happiest, I stop and remember him and how I would of felt had this been his child.
So the details....It's a boy. 8.3 pounds, 22 inches. I can't wait to meet him. His dad and I cried on the phone today and those tears were some of the happiest I'll ever shed.
Life is funny sometimes.
You have to learn to make happiness where you find it.
