Ive been a way from NN for 3 days.............it was my wife's birthday on 26th (or would have been). As a family we decided that this would be the best weekend to scatter her ashes. Her favourite place in UK was Sandbanks, Dorset. 30 members of the family met up and enjoyed drinks at a local hotel. A place we spent many happy times during our life together. How I got through my loving speech about her I don't know but I did! lots of tears but smiles too The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter. we said our final goodbye at a place she loved.............the beach and sea was so important to her. She loved Tunisia, especially the Sahara Desert which we visited on numerous occasions. Id kept some of the soft sand we gathered whilst we were there on our first visit...............for those who have never been its like walking on talcum powder. I decided that she should take the Sahara with her and I scattered the sand with her ashes at the waters edge together with some flowers. She has now gone and I know fittingly for a beautiful lady in a beautiful appropriate way. To my darling wife ..................'Goodbye' .... I shall always Love You Now and Forever More xxxx ...........................till we meet again in the next life xxxxxx |
