I haven't been on here for the last couple of days because I had to have one of my dogs put to sleep. It was one of the most difficult things I've had to do in my life but I know now that he is at peace and no longer suffering. I have been very sad.

I will reply to PM's and catch up on comments on pics and forums just as soon as I can, hope you understand.

Foxi, I am so, so sorry. We had both of ours put to sleep within a 3 month period about 4 months ago and the house seemed very quiet indeed. I must admit we wanted to leave it about 12 months before even thinking about getting another one but 3 weeks ago we fell for a rescue dog and life now feels complete again. I know that you will be grieving and anyone without a dog won't understand the pain and guilt you will occasionally feel but you did the right thing. Just remember all the good times and your friend will never be forgotten...ever. Keep safe and all our love/hugs D & A

That sucks babe. No more dogs and you won't have to go thru that again. Just sayin'..... We got one who's days or numbered to. Don't want another one but the one who has the pussy in the house will most likely have the say so in that.

i am so sorry to hear that, i cant say i know what your going through cuz its different for every person but when we put our dogs down i cried for like 3 months straight and i still miss them

Very sorry for your loss. I have a friend who just went through the same thing. I'm an animal lover, so I know how much that hurts. Take care.

Losing a pet is a hard thing to deal with, especially one you have had for such a long time. I had a similar experience several years ago. It is not an easy decision to make, but just remember you did what was best to eliminate your pet's suffering. Leigh

so sorry to hear about your dog,i remember when i was 11 my brother was
9 my dad had to put our dog down. we went to school in the same class room
3 grades in one. my brother stared
to cry the teacher asked him why he was crying he could not answer so i
