I'm a pretty normal guy that you'd never suspect of being on NN. It's my outlet for everyday life. Love photography and guitars. My voice greeting is a sample of my all original music recorded basement style. I change it from time time. My favorite guitar is my Gibson SG thus my user name was born.

Sunday, June 17, 2012, 3:48:32 PM- Remembering My Father!
I always looked up to my father since I can remember. To me he was the center of our family. It wasn't until I got married and made my our path did I see him differently. My wife saw his flaws long before I ever wanted to acknowledge them. She didn't like him very much and my contact with him became less and less over the years. Maybe has I became a real adult I didn't need him as much and that's what life is about. He prepared me to go out into the world and fend for myself. Job well done dad! He passed away 10 years ago. It was unexpected and quick. He hadn't been home but a few weeks from a trip to Africa when a undetermined lung infection took him quickly. I got a call from the hospital in Fort Myers and I caught a flight that evening. The next afternoon he was gone. I never got the chance to just hang out with him in recent years. We were too busy. That's what we told each other to keep it simple. As I write this story of remembrance tears fill my eyes. My dad had quite a life and always looked forward never feeling sorry for himself. that was his best quality. He was quite athletic and I thank him for the quality genes in my own DNA. He was a fighter pilot in WWII. Graduated from Penn State as an engineer after lettering in several sports. He even played in the minors one summer for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Then he climbed his way up the corporate ladder so we moved a few times. When I went to college the distance between us began to get in the way. I didn't pay him enough attention. All of a sudden we were living different lives but he was still my father. When I was 28 my parents split up and I had to take care of my mom. Years went by before I could fully accept him back into my life. But it did happen. I had kids of my own. We all took a few vacations together out at ranch up in the Idaho mountains. For a few short years I knew my father again. Then I got that call from the hospital.

Saturday, June 16, 2012, 2:33:53 PM- Early start to a long day
Why can't I sleep in on a Saturday morning? Guess we're all so pre-wired to wake up like a regular work day and your body just doesn't understand the difference. My body is now screaming for some serious quality sleep. But the awake time was for a good cause... ME!

Thursday, June 14, 2012, 9:47:01 PM- Why Thursday Is the Best Day of the Week for Sex
Why Thursday Is the Best Day of the Week for Sex Here's what I found so I pasted it below. If you believe what you read in the paper (and several sources cite these studies) it has been found that: Mondays are the best days to de-stress. According to the British Medical Journal, the likelihood of having a heart attack increases by 20% on Monday due to binge drinking and the stress of returning to work. Power of Slow tip: If you don't love what you do, love the ones you're with. According to a German workplace study, 96% of survey respondents said the work climate was very important, compared to only 78% who said they valued adequate pay. Tuesdays are the day to get things done. According to a Gallup poll of UK executives, they prefer Tuesdays as their most productive day. According to a health survey from market research company GfK NOP, Tuesday is also the day that those polled had the least amount of sex. Power of Slow tip: Go to bed early on Tuesdays and really get some shut-eye! Wednesdays are supposed to be the best days to approach the boss for a raise, according the another UK poll. They aren't thinking about their weekend yet and have already waded through their emails that had piled up over the previous one. It's also supposed to be a good day for singletons to have their first date. Power of Slow tip: Go for what you want on Wednesdays! Thursday is....drum roll....the best day to have sex, according to a London School of Economics' report. Why? It's all about synchronized hormone levels between man and woman. How your body is supposed to know what day it is is beyond me. Power of Slow tip: You have an internal clock that is roughly 24 hours a day. It's embedded in your system on a cellular level. Even algae carries around the same inner ticker, according to university research from Cambridge and Edinburgh. Set yours a little earlier on Thursday mornings when estrogen and testosterone levels are nearly five times what they are at other times. Fridays are good for quitting smoking, US researchers say. Twenty-Four Hour Society author Martin Moore-Ede says they aren't good for making major life decisions (except, perhaps smoking cessation) as we're tired out by week's end. Power of Slow tip: Slide into Saturday without making too many decisions. Look forward to your time of rest. Saturdays witness too much alcohol abuse (hospital admissions rise 70% due to patients' overindulgence). Power of Slow tip: Stay sober on Saturdays. Sundays are best for sending personal emails. According to web research company eMarketer, the open and click rates are higher on Sundays than any other day. Power of Slow tip: Set your email marketing campaign to arrive on Sundays; but do it on Tuesdays, when you're most productive!

Wednesday, June 13, 2012, 1:44:43 AM- It turned into a fabulous day!
The day got off to a decent start when my wife and daughter headed out of town until late Sunday. Then this afternoon's job interview was just stellar. Not only did I leave beyond confident the position pays a lot more than I expected! This evening I'm just chilling... I better start drinking a little, throw in a little perving and I'll end the day by laying back in my comfortable king size bed and just stroking off!

Saturday, June 9, 2012, 9:00:20 PM- AC Cleaning
The AC at my daughter's place is less than efficient. One look at the outside unit and I knew why. There's no way enough air was getting past those coils. I brought a hoses from my house since there are none available at her apartment that we could see. We took apart everything and cleaned it thoroughly from the inside outward. Runs like a new unit now!

Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 11:30:21 PM- Too many houses
I did nothing but go from from one house to another previewing them for possible sale. Now they all look the same. Hell! Isn't that why they invented in the Internet?

Friday, June 1, 2012, 8:21:38 PM- Friday
I got in my car and it wouldn't start again! First it was Tuesday now today. All things must die... especially my battery. Now I have a brand new battery that's supposed to last years and years. However, my plan was to have this car traded in by the end of the summer.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 11:25:53 PM- Not to panic!
I had another interview this morning. It was an easy 15 minute drive but I was leaving almost 30 minute before to be sure I was late. I was wearing a nice suit and jumped in the car, inserted the key, turned it and my battery was nearly dead, gone! Oh Shit! usually you have warnings of battery failure. Was it the alternator? I walked down a friends house and told him I needed his car to jump mine off right away.... like now! A few minutes later my car jumped to life and the battery has been fine since. I just don't get it.

I've been busy outside shooting pictures. About 700 of them. However, I do want to take a second to say I'm proud of everyone who has served their country.
