okay so i get up in the morning and i'm going out of my mind... i have to wait a few hours before i can leave.. my poor mum is calling like a mad woman (she was so nervous so was i but hmmmm her more so)....so i get to leave and make a few stops on the way (for anyone who may not know what the hell i'm talking about....yesterday was the day i met my brother for the 1st time, he was adopted at birth 43 years ago, i've been searching for 17yrs) ... i get to the meeting spot about 15 min early but seems like everyone else does too ... my mum and my brother that is.... him and i hug him and my mum hug.... i hug his wife my mum hugs his wife..... he was 8lbs 14oz and now 43 years later a very handsome 6'2" and 218lbs... he and his wife are just both lovely.... we go into the resturant and order drink ( i don't think anyone could have eaten we were all shaky scared ).... we talked, we laughed, we shared pictures, we took pictures all in all a really truly spectacular day and one that i'm sure not to forget.... i really couldn't have asked for a better way for things to go (there were so many really scary ways that the whole thing could have went down).... okay enough blabbing .... i'm just really feeling lucky .... mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa |
